CINEMA III (2009) In collaboration with Goldsmiths Sociology Method Labs A fading public space: Coventry Ritz cinema funded by the British Academy.
Cinema III (2009/9mins) made by Nirmal Puwar and Sanjay Sharma explores different collaborative methods for engaging with complex histories and futurities through in-habitation of (public) space, voice, sound, colour, stone and paper are called upon. Menace, melancholia and every day practice move as layered textures in concurrence and tension.

UNRAVELLING (2008) Directed by Kuldip Powar, with original score by Nitin Sawhney.
An evocative film exploring themes of rememberance through an inter-generational poetic dialogue. Premiered in Coventry Cathedral on November 8th 2008 as part of 'Noise of the Past', an event acknowledging the belated tribute to veterans from the (now former) colonies. Produced by Goldsmiths University of London, 'Unravelling' won the best short film award at the 2009 Sikh International Film Festival, New York. Described by the judges as a "visually beautiful film". 'Unravelling' (2008, 17 mins, dir. K. Powar).
Unravelling was screened most recently at the IMPERIAL WAR MUSEUM, Friday 31st July 2009 but premiered at Saturday 8 Nov 2008 COVENTRY CATHEDRAL, as part of Coventry Peace Month and 11th - 23rd November 2008 at The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, Jordan Well, Coventry, CV1 5QP.
